Erik Varon was born in Hollywood, California in 1968 and has lived in Southern California for most of his life. He graduated from La Mirada High School in 1986.

Erik is an avid baseball fan and has many hobbies including baseball card collecting, reading, geneaology research, competing in triathlons and building websites.

Erik is married to Agnes Varon. They have one son, Ryan, and one daughter, Emily.
